Short Courses

CCNSG:  The aim is to ensure a basic knowledge of health and safety for all contractors and personnel, so that they can work on site more safely and reduce the risk to themselves and others. Supervisor and ‘refresher’ courses are also available.
P.A.T Testing:  Suitable for Electricians and personnel who are required to test and inspect portable electrical appliances, to ensure that they meet National safety and quality standards and Regulations.
I.O.S.H:  1 day course on ‘working safely’ trains delegates to ensure that their individual and collective actions contribute to health and safety within the workplace and that responsibilities are clearly understood.
4 day ‘Managing Safely’ courses are also available.
Abrasive Wheels:  Suitable for any persons who are responsible for changing abrasive wheels on any type of equipment or machinery i.e. fixed or portable.
C.I.E.H:  This 1 day course provides delegates with a general overview of the most common health & safety issues within the work-place. Topics covered include  H. & S. Law, fire & accident prevention, risk assessments, work equipment, manual handling, working at heights, house keeping and hazardous substances.
First Aid:  This 3 day course is for any person wishing to become a qualified first aider in the workplace. 
2 Day refresher and 1 day emergency courses are also available
Basic Food Hygiene:  This 1 day course provides delegates with the training to acquire their basic food hygiene certificate, which is required by Law within catering and food establishments. Topics covered include  temperature control, food handling, food separation and storage, hygiene standards and cause and effect of contamination.
Slinging Techniques:  Suitable for persons within industries such as warehousing, engineering, transportation and Logistics, who are responsible for the use of lifting equipment and slinging operations.
Manual Handling:  Suitable for operatives and supervisors who are involved in performing or managing manual handling operations.
